Spring 2020 Teams

Dear Corning United families,

New York West Youth Soccer in accordance with US Youth Soccer has pushed the start of the spring season tentatively to May 1, 2020.  BCSA has pushed a tentative start to match play to May 16, 2020.  These are all contingent on the release from the current social distancing conditions from the federal and state governments.

We will continue to communicate with families as information is provided to us.  We are fully committed as a club to proceed forward in the ways that are best served to all families.  With that said, we fully recognize that even under the release of the current restrictions there are some families that may not feel comfortable with their daughters/sons participating in a contact sport.  If this is of concern to you, can you please let us know sooner rather than later so that we can take a proactive approach in attempts to salvage the spring season.

BCSA has granted match play to be able to be completed between May 16, 2020 and the end of July.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact either Chad Freelove at director@corningunitedsoccer.com, Dan Calkins at calkins1121@gmail.com, or myself.

Best regards during this tenuous time.

Jennifer Bange

President

Corning United Soccer Club

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Because of increased demand, we cannot guarantee a position on a team for all players who register. We will fill teams based on evaluation at tryouts, date TBA. Players will be scored on a variety of skills and be given an overall assessment score. Teams will be assigned based on scores. In the event there are more registrants than available positions in an age group, Corning United will issue a refund of the registration fee and uniform fees (if ordered) less a $20 tryout fee.

For questions about this process, please contact:
Chad Freelove, Director of Player Development – Boys
Dan Calkins, Director of Player Development – GirlsREGISTER

  • U8 – $100 for players born in 2012-2013
  • U9-U12 – $160 for players born in 2008-2011
